Elections in India have always meant @PrannoyRoy7749 for sane, sensible interpretation of the trends & results and that’s why today the screens in my office have been tuned to @DeKoderAI to watch the unfolding political earthquake in West Bengal & Tamil Nadu. The aftershocks of these results will be felt far & wide for a long time, probably all the way up to 2029.

Himachal govt installs a charging point in Manali for tourists to charge phones and gadgets, and within hours people turn it into a dustbin. No Swachh Bharat or any scheme can fix this nation, only an iron fist policy can bring change.

Deeply shocked & saddened by the tragic death of young Mohammed Hanzala from Tikken in Pulwama. As the search for the young boy stretched in to the sixth day hope was running out but it’s still been a terrible shock when the unthinkable was confirmed. I join the tens of thousands of Kashmiris in grief at Hanzala’s death. May Allah grant him highest place in Jannat & may his family find strength to bear this unimaginable loss.

National Conference Senioreader and Rajya Sabha MP Chaudhary Mohammad Ramzan, reacting to the declaration of Jamia Siraj-ul-Uloom as unlawful, said that it was the People's Democratic Party which introduced the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in Jammu and Kashmir during its tenure. He said he had not yet gathered full details about the reasons behind declaring the institution unlawful. Responding to criticism by Agha Rahulla, he said athat the issue of Article 370 remains a separate matter on which the party will continue its political struggle and urged the Centre to restore statehood as promised to the people. @JKNC_ #ChaudharyRamzan #JKPolitics #Statehood #Article370 #UAPA #Kashmir

He should NEVER have been detained under PSA, in fact he should never have been detained at all. His detention was a gross misuse of this law & totally unjustified. I hope the people responsible for this detention learn a valuable lesson from the decision of the Hon’ble High Court & reflect on the way these laws are being abused in J&K.
ASHUTOSH MISHRA@JournoAshutosh

Another illegal detention of opposition leader quashed by court. The J&K High Court quashes the detention order of J&K AAP MLA Mehraj Malik, who was booked under the Public Safety Act in 2025. He had to spend 8 months in jail for no crime.
