Several MLAs from Srinagar called on Chief Minister today and apprised him of various development-related matters, while also expressing gratitude for the resumption of the historic Darbar Move after several years.

Hon’ble MLAs from Budgam, Pattan & Pampore called on the Chief Minister at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, raising key constituency issues related to development, civic amenities & service delivery. The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and assured time-bound redressal, reiterating the government’s commitment to responsive, people-centric governance.

On the reopening of offices at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, the Chief Minister today chaired a meeting with Administrative Secretaries. The Deputy Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, and Advisor to the Chief Minister were also present. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for timely execution of works, effective implementation of directions on the ground, and improved inter-departmental coordination. He further directed the Estates Department to ensure proper arrangements, including adequate residential facilities for employees, and the smooth functioning of offices.

National Conference Senioreader and Rajya Sabha MP Chaudhary Mohammad Ramzan, reacting to the declaration of Jamia Siraj-ul-Uloom as unlawful, said that it was the People's Democratic Party which introduced the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in Jammu and Kashmir during its tenure. He said he had not yet gathered full details about the reasons behind declaring the institution unlawful. He should NEVER have been detained under PSA, in fact he should never have been detained at all. His detention was a gross misuse of this law & totally unjustified. I hope the people responsible for this detention learn a valuable lesson from the decision of the Hon’ble High Court & reflect on the way these laws are being abused in J&K.

Chief Minister today inaugurated the 11th National Conference & Exhibition on Emerging and Innovative Trends in Engineering Technology (ENCEET) at GCET, Jammu. The conference, organized in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur, brings together experts, academicians, and students to deliberate on emerging technologies, foster innovation, and explore future directions in engineering.
