Pride Month promotes values and behaviours that contradict the moral teachings of Islam, especially regarding sexuality, gender, and family. The Qur'an tells the story of the people of Lūṭ (Lot), whose transgressions were met with divine condemnation (e.g., Sūrah al-A‘rāf 7:80–84, Sūrah al-Naml 27:54–58). Islam calls for repentance, modesty, and submission to God's wisdom - not pride in disobedience.

What's amusing is that all of a sudden, the Takfīrīs and the Khawārij have remembered the authentic Aḥādīth commanding hearing and obeying the Muslim ruler in that which is good. We, the Salafīs, apply these Aḥādīth to all Muslim rulers even if they are from the people of Bidʿah like the Ashāʿirah, Muʿtazilah, Khawārij, Ikhwānīs, and so on. So, we hear and obey them in that which is good and supplicate for them, and we don't rebel against them nor incite others against them, and so on. However, this doesn't stop us from warning against the Bidʿah that they are upon. So we continue warning against the ʿAqīdah and the Manhaj of the Ashāʿirah, Muʿtazilah, Māturīdiyyah, Ṣūfiyyah, Qubūriyyah, Khawārij, Surūriyyah, Qutbiyyah, Ikhwāniyyah, and so on. In fact, this is from the greatest forms of Jihād in the path of Allāh. And this is why the Imām of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imām Aḥmad, continued warning against Jahmiyyah and the Muʿtazilah until he died even though the rulers of his time were defending, spreading and promoting the ʿAqīdah of the Muʿtazilah and persecuting scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah. At the same time, Imām Aḥmad didn't rebel against the rulers of his time, nor did he incite others against them. In fact, he strictly and explicitly forbade that.
