Big Push for Sports in J&K: Major Infrastructure Projects launched , More to Follow Across All Districts Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor today, in the presence of Hon’ble MLAs, laid the foundation of key sports infrastructure projects worth over ₹20 crore in Anantnag district. The projects include a modern Khel Gaon & residential sports facility, stadium development, expansion of sports infrastructure, athletic tracks, synthetic courts and reconstruction of sports complexes. This is just the beginning. Over the next two months, major sports projects will take root across Jammu & Kashmir, from Kishtwar to Kupwara, Kathua to Gurez! From football grounds in Kashmir to wrestling akharas and athletics tracks in Jammu, cricket fields and modern sporting facilities all over, J&K’s sporting culture will emerge strong and vibrant.
