It’s time we counter Russian threats to use nuclear weapons with similar threats of our own. Yes, this would be incredibly dangerous, but our failure to call out Russia two decades ago convinced both Russia and China that they can get what they want by threatening to use these weapons. Both are in fact planning to use nukes on the battlefield.

It’s very obvious that the CCP is behind many efforts to slow down the AI and data center roll out in the US. There’s definitely organic stuff happening too - but one would be naive to think that China isn’t adding massive fuel to the fire. China’s demographics are collapsing. Their economy is in rough shape. And their military technology just got decimated and embarrassed in Iran by the US, weakening its reputation globally. Then you’ve got Venezuela being taken off the map for them and with the Strait of Hormuz closed, China’s ability to generate energy to power AI has been hamstrung. Because of this, the US is now a big energy exporter because it has been blessed with massive natural resources that it is extracting. China to counter this has been going HEAVY into solar, which is smart. Then look at what the US is doing with SpaceX, which will give the US a hyper-dominant position in space for defense and AI compute. China HAS to do something to slow down the US. The US was definitely in massive decline coming out of COVID, but it’s obvious to anyone that’s paying attention that the country has significantly reversed course. The only way to slow the US down is through internal conflict by pitting its people against each other to the point of societal collapse or civil war. Fortunately for the US, it’s now way harder to drive a single source of propaganda with the massive democratization of information and the rebirth of free speech. China’s only hope there is to fund individual creators to drive the narrative they want. TLDR: The US has massive momentum against China. China’s momentum is severely hampered. China needs to do whatever it can to slow down the US.
