The Midjourney team is clearly investing serious effort into video generation. Users can’t create videos yet — only vote on existing ones. It’s early to judge, but enabling diverse styles in video is a bold and risky move. Curious to see where this leads.

Same Sref, same parameters, different models. In my exploration of Midjourney's wonderful SREFs I notice that v7 applies the SREFs in its own way, it's more for realistic purposes and v6.1 always adds more fantasy, surrealism and some sparkle to the skins. both are beautiful in their own way. 👆 Midjourney V7 👇 Midjourney V6.1

This feature makes a big difference especially in portraits, cinematic scenes, and abstract compositions. I’ve tested it myself, and honestly, I’m impressed. Images become noticeably deeper, more vibrant, and striking.
