I've not been to work for a whole one month. The last time I was at work was on 6th February. Today is the day I resume back to work after some few weeks off. May God's protection be upon me always as I return back to work today. May I never be a victim of any evil conspiracy. May every of my little efforts be rewarded with multiple great successes. My going out and my coming in are blessed by the Lord. I'm blessed in my home,I'm blessed in the field (workplace) and I am blessed everywhere I go. Amen.
Iṣẹ́ yá. Ọ́ yá, gbéra. 🚶🏃🚘

Life is so private that I survived an autocrash this last week and no one knew about it except my immediate family until my wife went to give a testimony in church on Sunday. I was travelling in a vehicle and another vehicle sped from an intersecting road into the main lane on the motorway and rammed into our vehicle; we were both on top speed. The vehicle I was travelling in was a complete write off (not my personal car, and I wasn't the driver either).
Other travellers on the motorway way had immediately called 999 to report the accident, and within five minutes of the crash, a fire truck was already at the accident scene, and few minutes after came three ambulances, and two police cars got to the scene lastly. All the emergency responders arrived within less than 10mins after the crash. Airbags and seat belts were our saving grace in our vehicle. It was my first time of witnessing airbags in action. I've always seen it on TV but I've never experienced it personally before.
The police took our details, the paramedics examined us and ambulances conveyed us to the A&E ward of the nearest hospital to the accident scene. The fire truck pulled out our vehicle's wreckage from the edge and another recovery vehicle towed it away. Same thing was done to the person that rammed into our vehicle. The other driver was actually the one at fault. We were all taken to the hospital by the ambulances. I got some skin laceration from the window glass that got shattered on my arm, and they did a scan on the arm to know if there were broken glass shards embedded in my skin. They did ECG for me because I complained about serious chest pain from the compression impact of the seat belt on my ribcage and they also did a CT scan to check for possibility of internal injuries and/or bleeding.
After thorough examination and treatment was done at the hospital, I was finally discharged because they believed my condition doesn't worth being admitted over. I was told to report to my local GP the next day for further treatment if I am feeling discomfort in my body. I ordered an uber and went to my house. In all of this, I didn't pay any shishi before being attended to by the paramedics at the accident scene or at the hospital. While I was in the taxi on my way back home, my mind wandered back to my home country and I was just thinking if this same incident had happened to me in Nigeria, what are the odds that I'd get the same prompt response and level of care I got from the first responders and the hospital staff.
I love my country and I want a country that works for all. But it really hurts me to see how Nigeria is being mismanaged by the people at the helm of governing affairs. It doesn't take any magic to replicate the kind of medical treatment we get here back home. I'm quite OK now to the glory of God but still at home resting though; I thank God that there was nothing broken nor missing.
Meanwhile, I want to implore you my compatriots in Nigeria to please normalise using seatbelt every time you are in a vehicle. It is for your own safety. I was sitting in the back seat, but I could actually have probably died or had a life threatening fracture if I was not having a seat belt on when the crash happened.
The best of my pictures will not be used for an untimely obituary post in Jesus name. Amen. 🙏

On this 65th Anniversary of our Independence, my message is hope and a call to action. The federal government will continue to do its part to fix the plumbing in our economy.
Now, we must all turn on the taps of productivity, innovation, and enterprise, just like the Ministry of Interior has done with our travel passports, by quickening the processing.
In this regard, I urge the sub-national entities to join us in nation-building. Let us be a nation of producers, not just consumers. Let us farm our land and build factories to process our produce. Let us patronise ‘Made-in-Nigeria’ goods. I say Nigeria first. Let us pay our taxes.
Finally, let all hands be on deck. Let us believe, once more, in the boundless potential of our great nation.
With Almighty God on our side, I can assure you that the dawn of a new, prosperous, self-reliant Nigeria is here.
Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, and may God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Babe and I went on a dinner date and I dressed up as a traditional Yoruba man. She said I look like a sugar daddy. 😂🤣😁😁
I think I need to buy two pairs of half-shoe from shoeniverse leathers and a hand purse so I can fully activate the sugar daddy phase of my life. Half-shoe and hand bag are the typical starter packs for sugar daddy lifestyle.
Zaddy Ọlá or Zaddy Olamide; na which one sweet pass of the two nicknames? Which one will suit me better?
