If the EFCC was serious about fighting corruption and arresting those corrupt, all they had to do was attend the APC convention with their officers. Everyone who has a corruption case is present there.

A petroleum tanker crushed scores of people to death. Instead of assisting the victims, those present are busy collecting petrol into their Jerry cans. When are we going to stop seeing things like this in Africa?

If you’re seeing a bunch of Japanese posts, here are some fun facts: Japan has more daily active users and more time spent on X than any other country in the world. Over two thirds of the country is monthly active on X. X in Japan has one of the highest penetration rates of any social network in history.

@PoojaMedia I did not see any of these guys angry, let alone fighting for the jerseys. What we have here is a normal happy group of players sharing gifts from their colleagues from another country.

@KevinblakC Most people don't know that there are names/words in Yoruba language that are spelt the same way in the Igbo language. The fact that you are familiar with it in your local dialect doesn't mean others don't have that same word in their language. We will keep educating them.

@ESPNAfrica Ghana keep wasting WC slots. Instead of them sitting at home and allowing Nigeria to represent Africa, they kept going for a 5-1 defeat every time.

@i_am_myloking @firstladyship How is anyone expecting someone who was a financial expert to handle our national electricity sector? The man who gave him that portfolio knew exactly what he was doing. Solving Nigeria’s electricity problem wasn't part of his plan.

You see what I have been saying. A government that is serious about solving Nigeria's power issues will actually hire an Electrical Engineer as Minister of Power. The moment Tinubu appointed Adebalu I just knew nothing was going to change in the power sector.
NEFERTITI@firstladyship

Meet Engr. Ikechukwu Monday, (MNSE, FNSE). He is the expert, the brain behind some of the wonders you see in Abia state. Here is the handle, go & follow him @hikemann. Monday is the Commissioner for Power & Public Utilities. We all know he won’t go back empty-handed. The reason is simple: “he was poached from General Electric as an engineer to head the Power & Public Utilities Ministry in Abia state.” A power & energy expert with vast experience in Gas & Steam Turbines. He is an Alumnus of the Federal University of Technology Yola & Roehampton Business School, London. Former roles include: Engineering Manager at Sulzer (Netherlands), Gas Turbine Specialist at GE (Africa & Middle East), Obajana Cement & Granite Services. He is driving electricity access, solar initiatives, mini-grids, transformer distribution & water scheme rehabilitation under Gov. Alex Otti. He is dedicated to powering businesses, lighting up Abia, & improving lives in the state. Alex Otti has simplified governance. If he succeeds in pulling the state away from the National Grid, Abia will become the first Nigerian state to achieve Energy Autonomy since independence. In fact, it would become the first to achieve Energy Security since 1914. He has made other sub-nationals look like jokes. He sent his commissioner for works to the Netherlands to negotiate the energy deal. He didn’t have to fly abroad himself. He is right there in Abia facing the business of governance No excuses, no sharing of rice. Just reliable electricity, infrastructure & industrialization 👏

There are connections to be made on this app. That is why it is a social medium. Getting clout is okay, but get yourself a good name. I've had to be the middle man in many deals worth millions because one party needs me to be present or vouch for the other party before parting money. I've also heard "I like to work with you because I trust you." You can call me anything, but you'll not call me a thief. That in itself is a good name enough for me. Elon's money is good. It pays the bills. Think of the bigger picture while at it. I've gotten many people jobs here. It wasn't my company they were employed to. They were employed because they came from Dickson. I've raised over N500m here for people, all of which are accounted for. It is simply because of earned trust. Some people even want me to leave Twitter and just come and be working with them. Some like the name I have here and want to leverage on it. It is a win-win. Whether you know it or not, people are watching, and the people that know you are more than the people you know. You'll not know how many billionaires are here until you know.

War in Iran, but Nigerians are paying the price more than anywhere else despite having natural crude in abundant deposits + a working refinery. Also, despite being fired with over 2,400+ ballistic missiles, Iran's national grid hasn't collapsed for one minute but Nigerians in total darkness. By next year, Nigerians will once again vote for their tormentors
