And Trump has literally no power to force Ukraine to do it. I think this is the reason why Hegseth unblocked the 400 million in allocated aid for Ukrainr as @RepDonBacon announced today. There was no reason why Trump would suddenly force Hegseth to unblock that money after holding it hostage for so long. When I consider Putin's request for a ceasefire on their precious May 9th parade day, I also remember that Russia broke every single ceasefire they made with Ukraine, and I am sure Putin will not honor this one either. He just wants Ukraine to Not join his military parade with our drones. I am also reminded that it was just a few months ago when Russia bombed ALL of Ukraine's power plants when the temperature was -12 C ouside in an attempt to genocide Ukrainians on a mass scale. 😡 I think Ukraine should not accept a ceasefire for a day. I think that with Ukraine winning everywhere on the battlefield, and the Russian army being in full collapse, that no ceasefire should be considered unless it includes a complete withdrawl of Russian forces from the 1991-defined borders of Ukraine (as we are going to achieve that anyway, just not my May 9th). I think giving gifts to the genocidal, ecocidal maniac (Putin) that is responsible for trying to kill millions of Ukrainians just 2 months ago, deserves no gifts. Peace is possible After Russia leaves Ukraine, not before. Also considering that the Trump regime has done everything possible to help Russia win, and another 400 million in aid is not going to make any real difference to Ukraine, now that the 90 billion loan from the EU is approved. Hegseth will not send Patriot ammo even with the 400 million unlocked, so the value of that aid is very small given the EU loan and our growing momentum on the battlefield. "Sweetners" are not effective anymore, unless all 400 million goes into Patriot ammo, and it needs to be delivered BEFORE May 9th ( as otherwise Hegseth can just freeze it again on May 10th). Trust does not exist in this environment for anything Putin says. Literally. So, a ceasefire on May 9th for Putin should only be considered if the US sends 400 million worth of Patriot Ammo that arrives before May 9th. Otherwise? No deal, let Putin worry about our drones joining his parade on May 9th. It is the Least we can do in thanks for the attempt to freeze the entire population of Ukraine to DEATH just 2 months ago. @ZelenskyyUa has a duty to the Ukrainian people that supercedes Putin's desire for a quit Mayday parade. Russia is going to lose this war, and may also lose their entire basis for shipping oil overseas if Putin does not leave the 1991 UN-defined borders of Ukraine before we sanction all of Russia's capacity to ship oil and profit from it. Putin told Trump he’s ready for a “ceasefire” for Victory Day, just enough to safely hold his parade. Because apparently he knows he can’t guarantee security in Moscow… but still needs to keep feeding Russians the myth of their “greatness.” Have you tried… not having a war instead?
