Yearn - $YFI - now leads the defi sector by marketcap. Also note, the total supply is circulating, so no extreme future dilution, unlike many other defi assets.

@onchainfx @MartialCrypto @MessariCrypto Absurd to have a 30 year away marketcap in this space but not to show next year. It's a meaningless metric as no one will make a 30 year investment in this space.

@O80925253 @MartialCrypto @MessariCrypto 1) Inflation rate is another way of looking at dilution across certain time scales
2) Diluted marketcaps provide a nice way to compare how the market is valuing known future dilution today. Far more apples-to-apples comparison than just looking at current mcap.

@MartialCrypto @onchainfx @MessariCrypto Nor does future marketcaps in 2050, such a non sense metric. Only current marketcap and inflation rate per year is irrelevant for an investor.
