The “it’s all fake” reaction is overly simplistic.
If this is real, then the lack of proper biohazard precautions raises serious questions about competence and protocol.
If its all for the cameras, then that does not make it harmless. It means they are staging the opening act of a narrative.

I cannot believe nobody is talking about this.
They are handling these infected patients wearing PAINTERS OUTFITS for a highly lethal pathogen studied in high containment labs. At the very least, this is a BSL 3 (biosafety level) situation, which would imply precautions closer to Level B PPE standards i.e. a gasmask, hazmat suit and decon, not the bare minimum we're seeing here.
I’ll say it again: either this is mostly nothing and the threat is being exaggerated, or they actually believe it is serious and are failing to take the necessary precautions.
The only other explanation is incompetence, which is also entirely possible.

OK, like WTF. So you’re telling me there is a possible human to human transmission virus with a 30 to 40% fatality rate, and these guys are not wearing Level A hazmat suits? They are wearing the bare minimum. Level D. Basically what you needed to go to the gym during Covid. Either this threat is being wildly exaggerated, or the response is criminally unserious and they want this sh!t to spread. Because if they actually believe what they are saying, this level of PPE makes absolutely no sense.
