Token theft. Traditional MFA protects the login process, but once the session is established, many systems rely on the cookie/token for ongoing access. AiTM captures that post-authentication artifact. Passkeys would have dodged it, proper Multi Admin Approval policies would have dodged it, and something as easy as time-based PIM groups for privileged roles would probably have dodged it.
