Off the back of that nothing fills me with more dread than a calendar invite for a pitch run through.

Does anyone else find that the more you practice a presentation the worse you get at it? I just end up double and triple guessing the best way to explain slides and it just ends up being worse every time.

We figured the best way to get this up and running again is to add a deadline. More info over the next couple of weeks!!

@ShaunCHill @deafheavenband That was 2019 wasn't it? I think I was doing something that meant I couldn't see them on that tour, last time I saw them was 2017. Sunbather is my favourite album of all time. Though I really liked the way they went with infinite granite so excited to see them again.

@oneofmanyjames One of my favourite bands, @deafheavenband. They’re so great live! Last time I saw them they co headlined with Touche Amore and it is probably my favourite ever gig.

Ooh. Big news. Just finished a beer or two with @oneofmanyjames chatting about bringing everyone's favourite Manchester based SEO event back (again!...damn you covid!) @mancseo will return this year 👏🎉 Exciting times . . .

Not sure why, but I am very convinced that Deafheaven won't end up playing Manchester in September, or I will miss seeing them play. Probably feel like this because I've been looking forward to it far more than most other gigs recently.

It was a pretty decent score TBH, they are a decent supplier.

After years and years and years of receiving TRR (The Referral Rating ) scores, finally got to give one for a supplier. How the tables have turned.

@kieronhughes I would like more direct social intent to be taken into account with recommendation - things like popular with your friends would be pretty cool. Though obviously brings loads of other issues with it.

@oneofmanyjames Good reminder - yeah. RT or even another equivalent would be fine, just something actually crowd sourced and external to Netflix itself.

Netflix is my usual go-to for things to watch, but it doesn’t seem to have developed much feature-wise in the last few years. Here’s some features that I think would be good to implement, harnessing the power of the community.

@kieronhughes I'd imagine it would have to be rotten tomatoes or similar, Amazon own IMDB. I think the rating system for Netflix is how much it thinks you will like it based on what you have already watched rather than in general.

2. Integrate with IMDb. The Netflix rating system is not very meaningful. Would be better to leverage a standard such as IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes.

@badams @JamesClear Totally agree. For any relatively large company, they usually know the major issues with their site already, so getting them interested in fixing the 1%ers is key to seeing some improvement over time while the bigger longer term issues are being sorted.
