I see the trolls are active today. Guess that is not unusual. My point about Hall was, for those who think, and know a little of his history (I, sadly, know way too much of it), my point was obvious. After crashing and burning his "ministry" (Pulpit and Pen) and the church he pastored, getting in trouble with the law, and admitting to drug addiction, Hall disappeared. Allegedly moved quietly to a farm, and eventually did an interview where he was, it seemed, going to stay and take care of his family and put things back together again, peacefully. Hence the "farmer" part. But JD could not stand being away from the limelight. Despite having burned everything that even looks like a bridge in his life, alienating EVERYONE who ever tried to be his friend, ever defended him (yes, I did defend him in the Caner situation---he had nothing to do with what happened), Hall just couldn't stay in a safe place. And those who don't know him have been busily encouraging him to get right back to the self-destructive ways that took him down so spectacularly just a few years ago. They do not, evidently, have his best interests at heart, and I can guarantee you one thing: once he comes after THEM, they will wish they had never heard his name. So anyway, the point of the comment was for those who know the truth of his past, and how sad the current situation really is.
