@maxnichols @osamadorias Thinking about it, there's a difference only if the sunset is different from the term-length,which probably isn't a good idea. But, since SC has no term length or sunset, maybe allowing for both makes more sense? Not sure, and too sick to think about it carefully. :-/

Maersk is unparalleled in its global reach. For the company to say "but we're not shipping to/from Russia" is mind-boggling. Russia is left with second-tier shipping options or difficult, long, costly overland routes. Let's watch and see how this plays out.
Mikhail Khodorkovsky@khodorkovsky_en

World’s largest shipping company has left Russia. The move represents a full departure from the sanctions-hit country. Maersk has stopped accepting new bookings on all of its services to and from 🇷🇺 and will sell all of its assets in 🇷🇺 following its annual meeting of shareholders

yo imagine if game awards actually had categories for things relevant to games like "best combat", "best puzzles", "best gamefeel" and stuff

@Scherlis @MarkHertling @TrentTelenko Painting scary pictures can be very profitable. Given the number of vehicles that were strangely out of service every time the Soviets held war games, this was something of an open secret I think. At least that's my recollection from some of the mil-focused magazines in the ~80s.

@onlinealchemist @MarkHertling @TrentTelenko I suggest it was "open secret", Mike, only among a pragmatically- and systemically- focused few. (Your kind of people, yes! But sadly enough, that's a minority.) And that's before we consider the mil-industrial incentives & pressures to paint a scary picture.
