@wegoin4clips @ManaByte Except acolyte, mandalorian, ahsoka, skeleton crew, etc. Really there’s like 3 shows between ep 3 and 4: bad batch, andor, maul, rebels. But the same or more are set outside of this era. Games are all over and movies are all past this era

Then you factor in actors like Florence, etc. licensing for songs, locations, stunt crews, insurance, flights, food, trailers, etc.

@onlinenick2000 @Dannypipes711 @AvengersUpdated The high budget is from cgi. Do you even know anything about film making? Probably at least 200M is for cgi because marvel heavily relies on green screens. RDJ, Evans and Pedro Pascal are the only high paid actors out of the 100 cameo actors.

The franchise isn’t in trouble cause cheaper projects aren’t making main entry numbers. Just cause they’re only spinoffs doesn’t change it nor make it a bad thing

You also adjust for way less people going to theaters with covid. Movies generally do less with outliers like Mario. Mario’d probably be a 2 billion movie before it

And they would if it was a Star Wars movie called “Jango Fett” or something (who btw is still a much more known name than mando). Rots didn’t even break a billion in 2005 and Mario broke 1.3 with way less people in theaters

U said re1 is supposed to be replayed, which is all the reason to not include tedious sections. Players will be content to skip optional stuff in any game so why make anything skippable then?

@onlinenick2000 @DiscussingFilm Ending on a cliffhanger isn't the same thing as having a story worth finishing. Plenty of shows get canceled mid-arc because the initial hook didn't land, and forcing a conclusion just to check a box rarely results in good television.
