@thatsdomo1 The problem is with Amazon not throwing them any bail with having to change season 2. It understandably underperformed and they were never given an opportunity to find their footing.
That criticism needs to go to Amazon instead of Kripke and production

That lack of actual scorched earth and showing the scale of dictatorship/ruin under Homelander’s rule hurts the season. I understand what Kripke was going for and it being symbolic for HL and Butcher’s end goals and psyche’s, but it felt lackluster and stakes were lower due to it
