Die FDP war lange Zeit meine Partei und ich habe auf kommunaler Ebene viel Zeit und Energie investiert.
Damals hatten wir noch einen (jungen) progressiven Flügel, aber etwa 2018 hat sich der Wind in der Partei so gedreht, dass unsere Positionen von Jahr zu Jahr immer ein Stückchen mehr verdrängt wurden.
Das Ziel war wohl libertärer zu werden und so wurde aus der FDP eine "Hauptsache-Dagegen-Partei", die nicht merkte, dass sie einen starken Rechtsruck hinlegt.
2020 und 2021 wurden wegen der Pandemie zu oft wissenschaftsfeindliche Positionen übernommen. Ich konnte teilweise nicht mehr unterscheiden, ob das AfD oder FDP Positionen sind, die da vertreten werden und bin deshalb auch 2020 ausgetreten.
Ich bin immer noch der Meinung, dass Deutschland eine liberale Partei braucht, aber die FDP ist es schon sehr lange nicht mehr und wird es vermutlich auch nie wieder werden.

Having worked on literary passages with thousands of high schoolers, I’m just gonna let y’all know that >50% of adults straight up do not know what the left passage is saying. It is opaque to them. At least 20% of people will struggle with the one on the right too, although probably not of the people who’d take this test for fun. They’ll ~all basically get & perhaps be moved by the right.
At best 2/3 can even grok the left though. Genuinely. The syntax is too unintuitive for people who don’t regularly read old prose. If you struggle with it too much, you’ll also prefer the other one that came more naturally and carried similar emotional weight — perhaps even more, since your faculties weren’t overtaxed trying to understand it

I'm an adopted man but I'd never want to adopt, that shit is not natural no matter what anyone tells me. It's not as bad as fostering or an orphanage but it sure as hell isn't the same as having blood related family. It is entirely normal for men to be concerned about blood and paternity we're biologically wired that way.

Ich mag das Antizyklische investieren und als Stuttgarter ist natürlich auch Porsche ein Thema für mich. Die Aktie hat aber seid dem Börsengang den Anlegern keinen wirklichen Spaß gemacht (es sei denn, man war Short.)
Ich hatte lange Porsche auf der Watchlist und bin auch immer noch überzeugt, dass Sie den Turnaround schaffen. Aber zum jetzigen Kurs sind sie für mich immer noch nicht "billig" genug, dass ein Kauf für mich in Frage kommt.
Aber vielleicht ist das jetzt auch wieder so ein Moment wo ich denke "ne, noch nicht günstig genug" und in einem Jahr steht sie wieder bei 90€. 😅 Wir kennen das doch alle, oder?

I dont know if its usually like this or not, but elves was way too open in both my arena drafts today. The first one i was definitely the only elf player in the pod, for the tribes to be balanced elves should have like 2.5 players per pod imo.
