It was a wonderful time to join @ontariocricket at their winter pot luck. It is amazing to see how organizations like OCA help create a positive and inclusive environment for the youth, allowing them to not only enjoy cricket but also build connections within the community.

Invest Brampton - Economic Development Office
ICYMI: Yesterday marked a significant milestone as the @CityBrampton, alongside esteemed members of the Brampton City Council including Councillor @RoweSantos, Vice Chair of Economic Development, and Councillor @Navjitkaurbrar joined forces with the @invest_brampton staff to extend a warm welcome to our distinguished guests. Among them were Hon. David Rutley, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Americas, Caribbean, and the Overseas Territories) at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and @YounisFouzia, British Consul General, gathering to explore our exceptional Cricket facilities. We were pleased to witness children who recently completed a cricket course at the cricket centre, showcasing their incredible skills and enthusiasm for the sport. Additionally, the presence of former Canadian cricket player and Director of the Cricket Hub, Derek Perera, added a touch of expertise and excitement to the event. #CityofBrampton #CricketInBrampton #BritishConsulGeneral #CommunityEvent

Great things have been happening for the development and promotion of cricket with @oscaschools. Great show of support from Minister of Education Stephen Lecce, Mississauga Mayor @BonnieCrombie and Brampton Mayor @patrickbrownont. We're proud to be a part of this initiative!

These guys break the law everyday and no one does anything. No tickets issued so they keep coming back. The pitches are also being damaged. Sloppy and ignorant from ⁦@PeelPolice⁩ ⁦@citymississauga⁩ ⁦shame!

I agree with cricket. Big fields and the players are spread out with no contact. It’s such a short season. They need to start playing soon.

Busy crowded factories are a #COVID19 challenge. An airport with loose restrictions is a problem.  But golf, tennis, cricket, basketball, baseball, soccer and other outdoor sports are NOT the problem.  Safe outdoor sports are good for physical health and mental health!
