@KellyMatshall The terrible murder of those three boys had nothing to do with Drumcree never mind the OO. It was a dispute between locals and their drug dealing uncle.

@VVVgirl35189 It’s always a pleasure to walk in your great city and to walk with one of the best bands in the parade. It is a credit to all the bands and orangemen and women on parade. I have to say I’m always amazed at the number of orange women on parade absolutely brilliant a credit

BREAKING DRUMCREE: Judge directs cross examination of Parades Commission and directed disclosure of all decision making material from Commissioners. It now appears some Commission decision making in terms of approving the determination is (extraordinarily) done via WhatsApp, and Judge has ordered all this to be disclosed.
In light of the significant developments in the case, Portadown LOL No 1 has formally notified the court they will not demand a ruling before this Sunday, but rather will provide in or around 14 days given the importance of this challenge.
The significance of today is enormous. The Portadown Orangemen have waited 27 years, for the first time the Parades Commission are being scrutinised, with the extraordinary step in Judicial Review of the Judge directing the Parades Commission representative take the witness stand under oath, and further require disclosure of material.
Case will now adjourn for a number weeks when it will then return for up . More progress has been made in one day in the High Court than at anytime in 27 years .
Huge credit to the Portadown Orangemen, who were expressly praised by the Judge for their approach, with concerns about those who refuse to engage in dialogue.
McAlinden J says “dialogue is going to be required”. This is very important given residents have continually refused to engage with the Lodge, just maintaining an obstinate refusal, and Parades Commission have allowed this to turn into a veto. It’s clear that situation is no longer sustainable.
Carla Lockhart MP in attendance all day in support of the case from 9:45am to close of business, and was acknowledged by the Judge and thanked for her attendance at the close of today’s hearing. She is passionate supporter of the Portadown District Lodge, and not many elected representatives would show such dedication.
