On October 20, construction workers conducting renovations crawled into the ceiling of an isolated section of the hospital and found his body. Then the autopsy made everything worse. Hospital management ent told the family he had not d*ed from surgical complications or natural causes, and that he had been placed in the ceiling after his de*th. His brother Christmas Khethwane said: "They said it was clear that my brother did not die as a result of natural causes. He d*ed as a result of something and was placed where he was found." Nearly two years later, his brother told reporters: "We are losing hope. No one has answers for us." The officer assigned to the case had lost interest. The family was considering legal action. No one has ever been charged. No explanation has ever been given. The case remains officially open and completely unsolved.
