@sightstoc @PeakRT_ Well when kon plays without lamelo, its not only the ts% gap. He also has 2 more points than Flagg and basically the same rebounds/assists. So is 2 more points on +4 ts not making you look at things differently? You not knowing the importance of +4 ts% is why we need analytics.

You say this as if there isn't other offensive talent on hornet's roster other than LaMelo and miller. Also this is just a ten game sample size... Flagg is shooting 56% TS the efficiency gap isn't that big where 60% makes me think any differently of the situation lol. Also are you actually watching mavericks play without Flagg, or are you just looking at stats? Stats are good for measuring efficiency between players. But they absolutely need context and film behind genuine impact of a player, especially on teams where you compare a team trying to win and one that's trying to lose. Mavericks offense seems so much more fluid with Flagg on the court than off. The offense with Kon on the court (without lamelo or miller) is erratic. To be honest doesn't seem like there is no showing you or any spot of agreement if you think Kon is the clear ROY and that flagg doesnt have a chance.

I desperately need a Mavs fan to show me actual proof of Flagg being a “much more impactful defender” and no raw stocks do not count
