@der_kito @glob3x Wir haben eben IPBSA Zugang bei der Telekom, d.h das ist ein Provider Wechsel grundlegend. Kann je nach Anschluss individuell noch im Prozess variieren. Am besten bei uns mal ein Ticket aufmachen?

@thejsa_ so with @aaisp and @alexbloor the good thing is it was always us who didn't move at the pace we wanted, they could and wanted to deliver. But let us have a chat how we can make a setup work for you.

@thejsa_ to be fair, we were looking at other suppliers before, and after not even hearing anything from them, and then essentially being billed for something they didn't build, we gave up. they charged us for two empty CENTOS servers where they never delivered what was promised.

Do you have your own ASN? maybe for a small project? Do you want to be able to run it at home? Do you live in DE; CH; LI; UK or in NL? Contact us - we most likely can bring you BGP to your home. (or datacenter, of course)

2002 konnte man sich bei uns mit der UserID «init» und dem Passwort «seven» anonym einwählen. Es gab noch keinerlei #BÜPF und sonstige Überwachung. 8 Jahre später wählte sich kaum jemand mehr ein, es gab ja ADSL und erste FTTH. 2023 zelebrieren wir die Technik-Nostalgie 😎

@mythryll @burneeed @loopback1 go for the MoCA every time over powerline. Tested both ;) these cables have shielding, while your power cable is exposed to everything. The moca can do 10G for COAX Internet in a Neighborhood, so the 1G is easy. powercables are low freqzency and unshielded ;)

Kind of shocked this actually worked. It goes through my house's coaxial and converts to Ethernet/rj45. I have these on both ends.

@Truserc Turns out yes. We just settled a deal for Rackspace in Strasbourg. Won't have big redundancy possibilities yet, but will come at budget costs for at least DC connectivity now, and transit included in the Colo fees.

@openfactory Are you planning anything to France, I would love something like that.

@fupsi42 well, it depends on where you are. For example in Ratingen, we would get IPBSA via DTAG as a pre-product, and then inside the PPPOE Connection we can also delivery you a full table and you can announce prefixes to us - getting you online. The DSL Lines we have, are from what we
