At IGDORE, we are committed to improving the mental health and working conditions of researchers. Work-related stress and psychological distress are growing challenges in academia, often leading to burnout and decreased well-being. That’s why we are proud to be part of ReACT (Researchers' Act: Training for Psychological Flexibility and Work-Related Stress Management)– a three-year Erasmus+ project aimed at developing a self-help program for researchers based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). 📷What is ReACT about?📷 📷Creating an interactive, multilingual, web-based self-help platform. 📷Evaluating the program’s effectiveness in reducing work-related stress. 📷Hosting awareness-raising events to engage the research community. 📷Developing policy recommendations to promote lasting structural change. 📷Why is this important?📷 📷Mental health support is essential for a thriving research community. By providing researchers with tools to manage stress and enhance resilience, we aim to foster a healthier, more sustainable academic environment.
