politico.eu/article/ukrain… @alexanderdecroo "“There is not” a Belgian-style restriction, Ollongren said. " Zeg maar gerust "laf" hoor Ollo. Als er iemand huilt, ook de Denen leveren F-16s zonder belgische restricties.

In a surgical strike Ukraine obliterated russian Black Fleet Headquarters and eliminated dozens of high-ranking russian officers, including many generals and the COMMANDER of the russian fleet himself. 🗡️ Let that sink in.

I met the engineers whose sea drones were blocked when Starlink didn't function in September 2022. But they tried the same attack again a month later, and they hit several targets in Sebastopol. World War Three did not break out. theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…

European Council President Charles Michel lashed out at “Mr Russia Representative” (FM Lavrov) during his address at the opening session of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Delhi Saturday and accused Russia of offering grain to African countries in “a parody of generosity”. “And what cynicism, Mr Russian Representative, you did not accept this because not only have you decided to pull out of this agreement on the Black Sea, but at the same time you are attacking the port infrastructures. You are blocking the ports that give access to the Black Sea, and even to the Danube. And to add insult to injury, Russia is offering 1 million tonnes of grain to African countries in a parody of generosity. What cynicism and contempt for African countries, when we know that the Black Sea agreement has so far delivered more than 30 million tonnes of exports, mainly to the most vulnerable countries. And that the solidarity routes, alternative routes developed by the EU and with the EU, have already enabled 40 million tonnes of grain to be exported. 1 million tonnes offered — as if it were a gift. This is absolutely appalling cynicism. On the other hand, there are those who are really fighting to come to the aid of the most fragile and vulnerable populations.” Charles Michel told Lavrov.

Some thoughts.. 1. If MSM media has a bias against Elon, and they certainly love to pounce on him with misleading headlines, I wouldn't say you are balancing things out with 'No Bias, No Echo Chamber' with some of your posts. Headline of 'Preventing Possible Nuclear War' seems a bit hyperbolic. 2. Elon/SpaceX donated an extraordinary amount to help Ukraine. Unlike, Lockheed, Boeing, Raytheon, etc that have received billions in tax payer funds for their contributions. Though, I do imagine SpaceX started to rightfully receive payments for some of this ongoing support. 3. If Elon/SpaceX is providing a free service, they should have some say in how it is used. Could entirely see him not wanting his generosity to directly contribute to loss of life. Similarly, if he is making a service available for governments then at some point, have to let people who are paid to fight a conflict make decisions. Seems like that is the point of creating a separate Starshield. 4. But your assertions that this 'probably' prevented nuclear war seems a bit of a stretch. Do you realize how many conflicts have happened throughout history where USA or Russia was assisting, arming and in some cases directly fighting each other and it never lead to nuclear conflict? - Vietnam you had Russians providing fighter jets, surface to air missiles, tanks, guns. There were Soviet troops flying the fighters shooting down Americans, Soviet missile operators shooting down Americans. - Similarly throughout the 1980's the Americans directly armed Afghanistan fighters to kill the Soviets. This also included weapons, surface to air missiles, etc. You could probably argue that the Soviets directly and indirectly contributed to the loss of tens of thousands of American's in Vietnam and we probably have done the same in return between Afghanistan and now the Ukraine conflict. Personally, I don't see Starlink as the nuclear tipping point, nor do I think supplying F-16s, tanks or drones will do it either, and history supports this position. Bad people don't get a free pass because of the threat of nuclear escalation or they will play that card all the time. There are a lot of reasons for Russia not to escalate. You wouldn't want to nuke the land you are trying to occupy and you are not looking to invite a retaliatory nuclear strike that cripples your own nation and leadership unless you believe it will happen regardless. WWII was not averted in 1938 when the world conceded and permitted Germany to annex Sudetenland.. it just emboldened Germany to want even more.
