from chatting to VCs over the last 3 months i realised that seed round crypto investors all fall into 2 categories: - chads - wimps the chad VCs will dig in, ask the hard questions and be ready to take a leap of faith with the view to double down. sometimes they are annoying to chat with as they challenge you but this is good. you want to be surrounded by chads. the wimps will come with VC for dummies questions, a fave is 'what will you do if X competitor does this?'. they are easy to spot because they think they are contrarian but all ask the same questions. they will waste your time. you will see the pattern after you talk with 5-10 of them. avoid them at all costs. the goal as a founder is to surround yourself with chads and fade all the wimps because at the end of the day only the chads deserve success and to be successful you need people that will stick with you when times are hard
