Michaela pupils project their voices, speak in full sentences, make confident eye contact, deliberately practise talking to visitors. All of this is taught. Every interaction develops their social skills. Every adult plays a part in this. Every child benefits. It’s normal.

Very happy indeed that the government will create an oracy framework to ensure all children are fluent, confident speakers and listeners by 11 and an oracy, reading and writing framework + whole school strategy, to develop all three skills in curriculum subjects. @OracyCambridge
