My therapists told me that some people just don’t have the capacity to sit with and face the pain. Jangankan menghadapi, merasakan “kosong”nya aja sulit buat mereka. So they choose to avoid it and fill the gap with another person who is in the line, because it’s easier for them.

@letsbuildurkur Sometimes when we tried to give a person the things they said they never had, they just ended up showing us why they never had it at the first place. And i think that’s sad. For us and for them.

@orbitually I actually relate to this more than I’d like to admit. I used to try to “fix” someone and be their support system, but it ended up draining me and I became the one needing help🙃✌🏼

@ellengouldings Gpp bgt kalo move on nya didasari self respect dan sense of security yg baik. Masalahnya ada sebagian org yg cepet berpindah and tend to use people as a tools krn alasan yg aku jelasin diatas. Context dan background emg perlu buat liat dr banyak pov thus why i said “some people”

@orbitually e cuman kalau konteksku beda sih kak, jujur, aku type of person yang gampang move on karena background ku yang sebelumnya udah pernah kehilangan anggota keluarga, jadi rasanya kehilangan hal lain sesuatu yang sepele buat aku apalagi kalau casenya memang orang tersebut yang ada~

For those who happened to cross paths with that kind of person who just used you to fill the gap, or maybe seeing your past someone quickly replace you like what you had were never real, It was never your fault. It was real, even if it’s only for you, it’s still a real thing.

@ariwibx Masalahnya banyak yg kayak gini kak 😅 mereka udh aware sm patternnya tp instead of fixing themselves, malah filling the gap with new person. Ujungnya bikin sakit orang lain while their intention is pure and good. I don’t blame them. But please work on yourself first ajasih wkwk

@orbitually This is common avoidant traits. Ya mau gimana lagi, their past trauma made them incapable to proceed feelings like "normal" people. Better not to lower our standard to fit them, ntar lama2 kitanya yg ke terapis.. padahal yg harusnya butuh terapis tuh mereka lho.. wkwkwk
