@gina_scooter it's funny, namwalli is probably right (and BJG wrong) that the film itself is critical of junglepussy's character in that scene, but that just makes BJG more correct that the film is politically regressive (unless your vision of black power is the protest industrial complex)

One irony is that OBAA is itself already interrogating the relationship between filmic image, spectacle, and politics. It also presents several different characters' views on what black power 'looks' like. There are multiple black women revolutionaries, including Perfidia's moms!
