I still can’t believe the USMNT 🇺🇸 had the biggest game in their history, with the country paying attention and they just decided to put one of the WORST World Cup performance I’ve ever seen from any USMNT team. Unreal, truly.

@AustinCEckert That is the point. They accomplished very little. Exciting to watch but it was all against lesser teams ranked 29th or worse.

I was more referring to the fact that the World Cup being in the United States this year brought everyone together and the U.S. fans showed incredible support the entire way. The U.S. played well for the majority of their time in the tournament except tonight.

No, the World Cup was not a success for USMNT. They were eliminated in the Round of 16 just like their last 3 trips to the World Cup. Pulisic removed himself from the superstar conversation. They won a knockout game but it came with an expanded field. Massive dissapointment.

Proud of Team USA for the incredible run they made in this year’s World Cup. What a gutting way to end it though.
