@JayWamsted I got so mad last year at one 8th grade class, they had to put their bottles in a box in the hallway! They were squirting one another! Yup. Done with that. I'm old and crusty.

Had to put all the student water bottles up front. Too much noise & too many spills Then I heard myself say: “When I was your age we didn’t have cell phones & we didn’t have water bottles We were bored & thirsty & we turned out just fine” A+ teaching for sure

@adrienneelva @JayWamsted I'm like you. I tell them if they get dehydrated and pass out, I'll drag their limp body to the drinking fountain myself. LOL!

@JayWamsted When I don't let my MS students refill their 40 oz water bottle, and they complain that they're thirsty, I tell them that, if they die of dehydration, they have my permission to come back as a ghost and haunt me. They are usually too stunned to reply.

@JayWamsted I have 2 sons. During their teen years, I would walk in their bathroom and discover they were out of soap and toilet paper. All you can do is shake your head. (They do eventually grow out of it!)

After sending my 13yo son away to put on deodorant and brush his teeth, I discovered that the odor trailing him was his socks, which he was trying to wear for the 2nd day in a row I just...why? Why are they like this?
