Really disappointed with @WestofEnglandCA & Helen Godwin for the cancellation of the Birthday Bus Pass scheme. The prioritisation of free travel for children when they already travel at a discount price is unfair. Working people are penalised by rising bus costs.

@orh_environment Hi there, sorry to hear that. Please send us a DM with the train you are on and the train you would like to be held and we can request a hold for you - John

@BristolCouncil The major road works on Bath Bridge, approach to College Green & Whiteladies Road also don’t help 🥲
English

@FirstBSA I was at Redcliffe Bristol Bridge R9. I got there at 21:23 and did not get on a bus until 22:15. I saw the 39406 YN69 DVV at The Centre C8 at around 21:15 - and within 10 mins it was delayed and then just seemingly disappeared?! Then a 1 turned up only to Temple Meads at 21:50.

@83thann3 @FirstBSA @X An accident has happened & 5 bus routes diverting - I think emergency update can be done no matter hours there should be someone to do that. I had to calm down a top deck of adults like I was a school teacher. Just another reason to be unimpressed with first bus Bristol🙄

@FirstBSA I wanted to get the 1 service at 17:20 from Belgrave Road which said it would be 23 minutes late and then disappeared from tracking. So I got a different bus - almost killed myself in the process from running as I have plans to get to - it then passed me at 18:17 on Sandy park

@paulmizen1 @char1iewatts @kenborg24 If you type in Bristol public community toilets on the internet it’ll show you on the council website a list of businesses that will allow you to use their toilet without purchasing anything.
English

@char1iewatts @kenborg24 My friends visiting the city from Carmarthen. We went into the city and could not find a toilet so ended up going in a cafe, three cups of coffee and three pastries, £20. An expensive pee they thought.

@bristol_parents No not published as of yet. But was an interesting topic to study! Sorry I meant New Fossway. Unsure with the logistics, as to if would be agreed to? I could be wrong tho 🤷🏼♀️ Would be good to see it however as yes drastic change is needed & especially with senior school there too!
English

@orh_environment Interesting, is this published? Great to hear about studies into School Streets!
Which main road? We need to make drastic changes so nothing should be out of the question.
English

And for St Bernadette's School.
Does it need to be much broader to meet the aims of the project?

Bristol Parents for School Streets@bristol_parents
Our only criticism is: Do these School Streets go far enough? They essentially address the cul-de-sac that the schools are located on, rather than the adjacent roads that are the real safety issue. e.g. Shoud Fair Furong include Fair Furong Road itself too?

This quote is now something I pass on to those I meet, a powerful message!
