It is the god that injects it into us like toy dolls for gods pleasure. When there is no God myth, like can have all the meaning we give it. It is individually empowering.

Parents take care of children and love them and raise them with compassion. God does none of that and threatens humans with arbitrary violence.

Sometimes, he talks to people about what he knows, which is where the revelations, prophecies, etc. come from.
