Imagine a father, telling his grown up son "I am just managing your mother... I only married her because she got pregnant for me" See how irresponsible that sounds? This is why there is no such thing as a wise woman. - Female intelligence has a lower ceiling - women are protected from unfiltered experiential exposure by everyone around them - Are too narcissistic for honest reflection/introspection - As a result of all that, insights are neither formed nor integrated into coherent mental models - And without principles to guide action, nothing is tested or refined, so calibrated judgement NEVER develops. There is foolishness then there's its much older cousin; female foolishness. Women are uniquely foolish and it gets worse as they get older

Good evening patriots. Here is your last dose of anger for the night. You will recall MT Paloma. The ship that arrived in March with fuel at 43ppm sulphur. Four times above Kenya's 10ppm legal limit. The Energy CS said reject it. Kenya Pipeline blended it anyway. Into your engine. Into your lungs. Kenyans complained. Spark plugs failed. Engines coughed. Today the government has released a press release. With official letterhead. And a very serious signature. Temporarily adjusting fuel standards to 50ppm sulphur. For six months. Owing to Middle East supply constraints. Let us connect these dots slowly. Illegal dirty fuel arrives. Government blends it anyway. Kenyans complain about engine damage. Government response? Change the standard to match the illegal fuel. They did not fix the fuel. They fixed the law. To fit the crime. This is not fuel standards management. This is evidence tampering. On a national scale. With official letterhead. The MT Paloma fuel was illegal in March. It is now government policy in April. Your engine was not the problem Kenya. Your standards were just too high. They have been adjusted accordingly. Everything else will follow. As usual, stay angry. No fake optimism: Singapore is a mirage! Dismas wa Tabu. Dreaming in installments. Billed in full.

Unemployment as a man doesn’t just take your paycheck. It takes your voice, your name, and the way people look at you. Here’s what it actually does to you: Your day loses its shape. No alarm. No reason to shave. No “how was work.” Result: 3pm feels the same as 3am. Time starts eating itself 🧵

The dating pool is very funny. The gateman will love to date the cleaner. But the cleaner doesn't see the gateman at the same level as her. She wants to date the doctor because he can give her the life she desires. The doctor doesn't know if the cleaner exists, his mind is focused on the nurse who's spinning his head. Because she's high class. The nurse based on the familiarity with the doctor doesn't rate him that much. She eyes the manager of the hospital because he has more money and control. The manager sees the nurse as another plaything. His focus is not on her but another top manager. By nature, women date higher while men date lower. However, in the real world we're dating and marrying those who are in approximate levels as us. The chances of the cleaner marrying the gateman is higher than her marrying a doctor. The same with the chances of the nurse marrying a doctor is higher than marrying the manager. It's an epiphany we all come to accept when we're running out of time in respect to our biological clock.

Dermot Gallagher is a perfect illustration of the problem with VAR. Once a referee is sent to the monitor it’s immediately suggestive and completely prejudices the decision. That referee will immediately feel pressure to agree with his colleagues who sent him there. A human being in that situation is far more likely to agree with his colleagues even if they’re wrong than to disagree with them and risk being the only one wrong. Every week we hear Dermot Gallagher absurdly contradict himself because he’s not interested in what’s right, he’s interested in who’s right.

Never flaunt your success or profits unless you have the power to deal with those who come after you. Envy and jealousy will attract enemies, and the world is far less benevolent than it appears. Some people have nothing to do, they're looking for something to do.
