If masculinity and femininity are irrelevant, why split into them? If equality is the goal, why rebuild opposite poles? You can’t say “there’s no man and woman here” while running the relationship on man-and-woman dynamics. Either the structure was the problem… or it wasn’t. But you can’t reject it and reproduce it at the same time.
