@LilNukeHead at some point, the mode is just falsely advertised. Call it linear, but make it open world. Call it grounded, but make the cradle the entire plot. Call it open, but make it terrible.
Call the campaign bombastic, but throw armored AI and give every cutscene a max of 6/10 writing.

@orrgroup834 the campaigns have been done so dirty over the years that mwii’s *spits on floor* actually seems like a godsend in comparison. i dont think these devs are capable of making a good campaign anymore at this point they should just get rid of them or start remastering the golden age

@LilNukeHead BO7 was advertised as a linear campaign with an open epilogue mode, but the actual campaign has 50% avalon open sections where you run from A to B doing jackshit against bullet-sponge enemies.

@LilNukeHead you can never trust a campaign's marketing. MW3 was the only "bad campaign" that had red flags from the start, depending on if you liked the idea of open sections.
BO6 was advertised as grounded, when the third act has you shooting clones of yourself from a fire shotgun.

On one hand sure it did help.
But for Zombies players, you and other leakers killed the mystery and element of surprise for new maps and the content within em.
This isn't to be a hit on you or others, I'm telling you from our perspective, it did more damage on expectations.

Hey so don't even open black ops 6 at all cause after i opened it to make this post it reset my augment progress in BO7 to what it was in black ops 6 even though i had them all complete and I've lost access to all my third slot augments

alot of stuff in bo6 broke after bo7 came out and nothing has been done to fix it. - Attachment and weapon skins are gone again - Can't equip scorestreak skins - Can't equip equipment skins - Any pre-existing equipped skins cannot be changed back - Armory no longer works
