Historians will record the "EV Delusion" as an episodes of mass psychosis where normally sharp-minded executives and boards swallowed the green propaganda whole, poured hundreds of billions into pie-in-the-sky electrification, and then watched helplessly as reality hit. So far, major car manufacturers have torched well over US$70 billion in wealth through write-downs, cancellations, and strategic retreats from their EV fantasies—Stellantis alone swallowed a staggering $26 billion hit, Ford around $19–20 billion, GM $7+ billion, Honda up to $16 billion, and the bleeding continues. That's not "investment"—that's wealth destruction on an epic scale Electric vehicles are great... for golf carts. If you personally want to drive one, knock yourself out. But stop being selfish, greedy virtue-signallers demanding that taxpayers and other motorists subsidise your expensive lifestyle choice and eco-vanity project. The experiment has failed. Time to wake up.
