The final episode of The Boys was amazing!!! 🔥🔥🔥
- Homelander goes on a 20-minute rampage, smashing satellites out of orbit and sending them crashing down across the world, effectively hurling China and Europe back to the Stone Age.
- The Boys set a trap for him back in Washington D.C., with Kimiko as their secret weapon.
- Sensing the ambush, Homelander crashes the entire White House down onto The Boys, critically wounding Kimiko and taking her out of the fight.
- With all hope seemingly lost, Homelander pulls Butcher from the rubble.
- He begins slowly breaking Butcher’s fingers while delivering a triumphant monologue.
- Soldier Boy suddenly snipes Homelander with a devastating energy blast.
- Queen Maeve appears, revealing she was the one who freed Soldier Boy. She still had clearance to the Vought building because Ashley never removed it.
- Realizing he’s been depowered, a terrified Homelander crawls and begs for his life.
- Butcher knocks Homelander out with a crowbar and raises it for the killing blow... only for Soldier Boy to step in and stop him.
- Soldier Boy looks at Homelander one last time and knows a better fate for his son.
- One year later: A cancer-stricken Butcher lies on his deathbed, surrounded by Hughie and the rest of the gang, along with his son.
- Hughie and Starlight are expecting their child soon, as an old Homelander poster passes them by.
- Cut to Homelander and he is shown on the floor of a maximum-security prison, enduring daily beatings as guards take turns violating him with nightsticks.
- Scene cuts to Soldier Boy, as he rides off into the sunset on his motorcycle, heading for Mexico with a grandma sitting on the back
Oh wait...
That was all a dream!
THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!
What really happened is that The Boys writing staff suffered from a severe case of TDS. They doubled down every time critics called it out, and in the end, they delivered one of the worst possible series finales.
What we could've had...
@Ryandally08 It’s manipulated BS statement. What dose having an access even mean? You made it sound like migrants arrive in a heaven and don’t have to work. Your lack of knowledge is astounding.
#BREAKING Non Australian citizen immigrants currently have access to a staggering 17 welfare payments upon arrival into Australia.
Under Anthony Albanese, our hard earned tax dollars now go to foreign nationals who come to Australia and refuse to work.
Y’all are not mad enough!! She was only 7 years old.
He called her “pretty” — his own words. DNA in both holes. There’s an audio recording of her choking and gagging on “something.”
Why the hell are we, as taxpayers, paying for this monster to sit in jail for 4 years waiting for a trial? And now we’re gonna pay for another 30–40 years on death row? Hell no.
Let her parents handle him TODAY. Some crimes are so evil they deserve immediate consequences — especially when the evidence is right there, loud and clear.
Signed,
A father of 2 little girls.
@therealhunkhan@Housebots Karma is working on this moron. He deserves it and even more.. He needs to suffer as much as possible before death. Death is an easy way out. Your take is absurd because you probably don’t have kids.
This is the Texas Prison where Tanner Horner will be held for the rest of his life until he is executed
- Mold everywhere
- Near-total isolation in Solitary Confinement
- He will face severe abuse from the guards and nobody will care
- Average death row stay there: 11 years
- Impossible to escape
- No privileges
- Hard metal beds
- Rotting smell
- Disgusting food
- Every guard knows what he did and will imagine if it was their kid
- What he is facing is worse than death
-Despite that, his final moments will still be full of fear and agony
-No contact with the outside world or ability to cry out for help
-No empathy will ever be shown to him again
@Okami13_ I’m at Biome 5 and the weapon compared to Returnal are bit shit to be honest. Smart Riffle is boring and Crossbow seems like a missed opportunity. Returnal’s Weapons were more fun and intuitive.
Rolled credits on SAROS. My thoughts:
▫️ 10/10 gameplay
▫️ Fast paced, addictive, and fluid with precise controls
▫️ Great art design and soundtrack
▫️ Skill tree adds a permanent progression system after each run
▫️ Combat has a lot more depth. Absorb blue projectiles, melee to break red shields, cleanse corruption effect, etc.
▫️ Boss fights were very cinematic with a few memorable standouts
▫️ Overall, the difficulty isn't as challenging as Returnal. Bosses were significantly easier, I beat several of them first try.
▫️ The Modifiers are a great way to tailor the experience and add more replayability however
▫️ Power weapons were another good addition that adds another layer of buildcrafting. Each weapon can come with up to 4-5 perks that can really optimize your build.
▫️ Weapon balance overall needs some tweaking imo - the Smart Rifle, Repeater Crossbow, and Prominence are the clear standouts while others feel underpowered
▫️ Story is definitely an improvement from Returnal, but still not the game's strong point. But I do like how there's a narrative explanation for the roguelite mechanics.
▫️ Excellent voice acting across the board
▫️ Performance was smooth for the most part aside from a few hiccups
▫️ Lots more variety this time. We got double the amount of biomes.
▫️ Level design was good for the most part. Each biome has different hazards to look out for, some easier than others.
▫️ Some light platforming elements depending on the level, which felt good since the controls are pinpoint accurate
▫️ The latter half of the game definitely kicks up the challenge, but by the very end you've become so powerful that it actually becomes easier
Overall just a really strong gameplay first experience that I can highly recommend. Returnal was my favorite game of 2021, and is still one of my favorite PS5 games of the generation. If you liked Returnal, then you will absolutely love Saros. Similar gameplay, but deeper mechanics, stronger progression systems, and more quality of life features.
Housemarque remains one of the most underrated and underappreciated studios out there - I highly recommend giving this a try.
Final Score: 9/10
Playtime: 25 hours
Platform: PS5 Pro
Thanks to @PlayStation for providing review code.

I just finished The Last of Us 2 and I have to say it’s now up there as one of my most favorite series. I can’t stop crying. This game has so many emotions. After a certain scene I felt like giving up but I pushed through and and became a fan of both parties. PEAK GAMING.😭❤️
@Andrew__Boley The “dad” thing made me scream in horror. Like if Nolan doesn’t care to even get the EFFING BASICS of the language right then there’s no point
Literalmente FLIPANDO con la cantidad de gente alabando y comentando que RETURNAL es su juego favorito de PS5.
Donde ha estado toda esta gente desde su salida????
@GamingSinceNES So far that seems to be best weapon. This is another reason why I like Returnal. The weapons were better compared to what I have tried so far. My favorite weapons were Deadbound, Rotgland Lobber and Electropylon Driver.
I hope the weapons in Saros will be as fun.
I have to admit that I ended up not being a fan of the plot of #SAROS. Not because of the reasons going around but more because I didn't like the storytelling vehicle they used that worked for Returnal for me but for this one felt more of an inconvenience.
Thankfully gameplay🔥
@ossman Yes that's something I totally enjoyed from Returnal. It played out the roguelite genre well where you had a mix of depending on what you got in a run and your skill and you had to see it to the end.
In this game you can outlevel challenges.
I do love it even with the weak parts
@ossman By the end, I think I do prefer this game gameplay wise because the skill expression is so much better for my tastes.
Returnal excels in adrenaline because of lack of room for error and storytelling is better IMO.
@ossman Yes that's the whole reason for their existence!
Once muscle memory kicks in, you may find it very hard to ever want to play games without it 🤣
@GamingSinceNES Thanks 🙏 for sharing the honest opinion. I will try it out before buying it.
I’d prefer keeping my thumbs on movement and camera at all times in fast paced games so the Pro might be the answer.
@ossman Eh... Mileage will vary on folk.
I've been using them for years now so it's so natural for me to have back buttons but some folk just can't get into them.
For me it's essential!
