And the countless workers across states who once endured delayed, staggered or unpaid salaries, but who today receive their wages more promptly because of improved fiscal support from the centre - some even enjoying bonuses and 13th-month pay - together with every family their income sustains, must all be from Argentina. Yet we are told these people do not exist. We are expected to believe that every beneficiary is a ghost and every testimony is a fairy tale. The child whose soup has sweetened does not argue with the one tasting bitterness from afar. Elections are not won by washing toilets or serving small chops at funerals. They are won in homes, marketplaces, farms, campuses and communities where government policies touch real lives. The footprints of performance are not erased by the noise of propaganda. If the next election were decided only by politicians talking to one another, Peter might fancy his chances. But democracy is not a gathering of politicians; it is the verdict of the people. And Nigerians have long begun to choose where their hearts, hopes and loyalty will rest and it is certainly not with the man who could not successfully govern a mushroom state. After all, he who could not keep a single hut in order should not boast of ruling a whole village. If one struggles to govern a small state, it takes uncommon audacity to ask for the keys to a nation. Good Evening Severally...

At this point, I would advise Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to refrain from commenting on certain issues directly. Any issue he gets deeply involved in tends to lose its merit and quickly becomes politicized. He should read the room and focus on offering credible alternatives to government policies rather than giving the impression of pursuing a personal vendetta.
