Again, setting up the administration for drags based on how you feel and not the fact. The fact in issue is that President Trump wrote a letter. This has not been controverted by either the Whitehouse or the US Embassy in Nigeria. It's unfortunate you're trying to create a space for the opposition to drag the government.
Most unfortunate that anyone would think a Nigerian President's spokesperson would wake up and draft a letter in the name of the most powerful world leader and go on to publish it....

My concern: If President Trump wrote the letter, he has not publicly acknowledged it. As of now, the only public source is the Bayo, and there has been no independent confirmation from the White House or Trump himself. A letter like this that: ✅ Contains major foreign policy statements. ✅ Publicly praises a foreign leader's handling of terrorism. ✅ References a "U.S.-Nigeria 2026 Defence Cooperation Roadmap." ...would normally be expected to generate: 🤷 A White House readout or statement. 🤷 A State Department release. 🤷 A Defense Department announcement. 🤷 Or at least questions from U.S. reporters. A Tale of Two Letters: On the left, we have an actual copy of President @realDonaldTrump's letter to Argentine President @JMilei. On the right, we have what an account linked to President #Tinubu, using the Facebook handle @PBATMediaCentre, has posted as President Trump's letter to President Tinubu. The difference is beyond clear.
We are not saying that a standard diplomatic response letter was never sent to President Tinubu. Nor are we saying that President Tinubu fabricated the purported letter. After all, Tinubu's staff could easily create a fake letter tomorrow and post it as a rebuttal.
What we are saying is that it is unusual for a letter to be quoted in full, including the date and signature block, rather than simply publishing an image of the actual letter itself. Until the actual letter is released, whether real or fake, Nigerians must understand that Tinubu is trying to fool you.

I had to leave Lagos for Abuja yesterday evening, but I needed to be back in Lagos first thing this morning. So I booked an airline I normally would not fly, purely for their early arrival.
I paid for business class. This morning, they put me in economy and offered a discount on my next flight as compensation. That is the issue. I do not fly this airline. I only flew them this morning because of an unusual schedule.
When a passenger pays for business class and an airline delivers economy, the correct response is simple: refund the difference. @mikeachimugu01 . You are doing a lot of great work, this system must be looked into. It is a scam in my book. They are eating their cake and having it.
Offering me a ‘discount’ on a future flight is not compensation. I don’t feel compensated, I feel cheated. They are keeping my money and calling it a favour.
It may not look like a lot of money. That is not the point. Nobody likes being cheated, and that is exactly how this feels. I hope this changes. Airlines compensate people with cash for flight delays elsewhere, here I can’t even get my money back for being served less than I paid for.
Small things like this get on my nerves.
