These are ‘protesters’ obstructing traffic in Lagos State. The police and other security agencies, government officials and their supporters have not condemned it. Pro-government rallies are acceptable to them, but anti-government protests are unacceptable. Hypocrites!

Nobody protests like the French. The new protests by the farmers in France is on another level.

WHY MANY MEN DIES EARLY Recently, my mind ran through a lot. I thought of a lot of women whose husband died long ago: 10, 20, or even 30 years ago and their wives are still alive. Many of them remarried but some did not. Hmmm! Some of the men that I knew died of high blood pressure, strokes or heart failure. The heart has taken too much. They have taken on too many responsibilities. They have bottled up too much pressure. I believe many men died early because they did not look after themselves, hardly do medical checkups, do not eat well, sleep well, or exercised well. They have houses that they pay its mortgage, its rent, or that they have fully paid for but they are hardly there whilst the women look after themselves and are usually at home. Restlessness kills! Many men are trying to be a man because they don't want to be vulnerable. When they have financial pressures, they don’t cry out. They try to carry the family responsibilities when they know they don’t have the capacity. Brother, allow your wife to help you by making some financial contributions. A lot of men are going through domestic abuse but they do not cry out. I know of a Nigerian billionaire who sometimes sleeps in his car or a hotel because his wife is so troublesome. I know the wife very well. The man will not leave her because of the children. He said the woman will mess up their lives. I wept the last time I spoke to him. Some of you reading this are being abused by your wives but you cannot cry out because of shame. You are dying little by little. Go and see a psychologist. Get Therapy. Get counseling. Confide in a friend that your woman is troubling you. Don’t die now. You may need to run for your life in order to survive. Some of you reading this know that your mother was partly responsible for your father’s premature death. A lot of men are developing prostate cancer because they have been starved of sex by their wives for a long time and the men do not want to commit adultery. Many have died in the process. But let me ask you, of what use is a relationship that will cut your life short and allow the woman who cut your life short to enjoy all the fruits of your labor with another man whom she will be worshipping? Why should you not be there for your children and enjoy the fruits of your labor? If you die, you die for nothing. Cry out and get the help that you need. There is no enjoyment in the grave. Once you are gone you are gone. When you cry out, you will live longer. Today is Men’s Day in my writing and do not trouble me on domestic violence against women. I have written a lot about that over the years. So, rest! Dele Olawanle is my name. I think, write and speak to make lives better. Follow me for more insights and inspiration.

The Bongo Family ruled Gabon for 56 years. The Gnassingbé Family has ruled Togo for 56 years as well. Faure Gnassingbé took over from his father who ruled Togo for 38 years. Teodoro Obiang has ruled Equatorial Guinea for a whopping 44 years, since 1979 WHAT IS WRONG WITH AFRICA?

Trinity has been sent to prison because of extreme pranks. I would love to know the law that was quoted to send him to prison. Is there any law against pranks in the Nigeria constitution?

Loneliness is a silent killer. You can be in the midst of people yet feel extremely lonely, at that moment you are vulnerable. If not handled properly it could lead to series of regrettable events. So what do you ?

If you fly frequently, you know the drill. When you arrive at the airport, police ask you for your passport and ticket before entering the airport. Then you scan your luggage.

Don’t mock or look down on someone who’s trying to change for the better. Not everyone is on the same level of piety. Their baby steps might be so beloved by the Almighty that it could be their ticket to Paradise. It’s best to focus on ourselves and not what others are doing.

The Nigerian Naira was stronger than the US Dollar and equal to the British Pound from 1973 to 1985. Nigeria had excess jobs for graduates in the 1970s. It had an oil boom. Nigeria's then Head of State, Yakubu Gowon said Nigeria's only problem was how to spend money.
