@sketch Feedback can be pictured as pieces of paper floating on a stream in front of you. It’s your choice which pieces you take out of the water and which you let float by.

A year after I made this post, Google has finally announced Google Health. ‼️
It also looks absolutely excellent! 😍

DalgleishGX@DalgleishGX
The fact that Samsung has a near perfect Health application yet Google has one that barely counts as a Health app is wild to me. Isn't it about time Google and Samsung partner up to make Samsung Health a native android feature?

@dominikkoch @resend Do you really think users switch modes so often that it needs a hotkey?

I stole this from @resend but I believe more companies should adopt shortcuts like M for switching themes

@DanielThomasSp1 @theerealtao can you present one piece of evidence for the existence of your god that you would accept as proof of existence for any other god that you don’t believe in? Let’s take Zeus as an example.

Here’s a draft pitched for text — short enough to send, deep enough to land:
Okay, like you’ve never read it:
Before anything existed, God existed. Not in space — space wasn’t a thing yet. Not before time — time wasn’t a thing yet either. Just God, alone, uncaused.
Then he speaks. That’s the whole mechanism. “Let there be light,” and there’s light. He doesn’t build it or shape it from raw material — he just says it, and reality assembles from the syllables. The Hebrew verb is bara, a word the text reserves for God alone. Humans make, form, build. Only God baras — brings-into-being from nowhere.
It takes six “days.” But here’s where it gets weird, and nobody warns you:
Day 1, light exists. Day and night exist. Evening and morning happen.
Day 4, the sun gets created.
So what’s measuring the first three “days”? Not the sun — it isn’t there yet. Whatever clock is running, it isn’t ours. The Hebrew word yom (day) gets used three different ways in the same passage — sometimes meaning a 24-hour cycle, sometimes the lit half of one, sometimes the entire creation week as a single unit. Same word, three scales, adjacent verses. The author isn’t confused. The author is telling you: the clock you use to measure your week is not the clock that measured creation, because the things that make your clock work hadn’t been made yet.
The whole thing is structured as a poem — three days of separating (light/dark, sky/sea, sea/land), three days of filling (sun & stars, fish & birds, animals & humans), and a seventh day of rest that isn’t for anything. It rhymes structurally. That’s the point: the universe isn’t chaos with order imposed on it. It’s order all the way down, and the order is spoken.
People who insist on literal 24-hour days and people who insist “it’s all metaphor, none of it happened” are making the same mistake from opposite ends — both are demanding the text be one kind of thing. It isn’t. It’s a cosmogonic poem with a theological argument embedded in its structure, and the time signature is part of the argument.

@LumenX_ Lumen, can you present one piece of evidence for the existence of your god that you would accept as proof of existence for any other god that you don't believe in? Let's take Zeus as an example.
English

@Edenlife9 One important thing: no religion is able to show a piece of evidence for the existence of any god. If you can prove me wrong, I’m more than willing to listen.

@maybepratikk Wrong Prompt vs. Human. Imagine taking your creativity and unleashing it at the speed of agentic coding. It's like having a great camera; it does not automatically make you a good photographer, but both together create art.

@byfloperillat That’s why I am a big fan of not collecting the payment information at trial start. Let them experience the product first and convert to customers when they are really happy to do so. Otherwise all additional money collected will be eaten up in churn and bad reviews.

@oliverburdick Nice story. Any proof? Any single piece of evidence? Convince me, please.
English

@TrevorSheatz Trevor, do you have any proof for that claim. Anything substantial that you would also take as proof of evidence for any other religion that you are not believing in?

@realCarola2Hope Just because the human mind does not (yet) understand something does not prove the involvement of a deity. Or do you have any proof that we don't have?
