@willchegwidden @LizDolanOT @theRCOT As a new grad in a regional hospital over 20 years ago, I did cardiac rehab group sessions, which included talking about sex after a heart attack. Definitely need to talk about it!

@LizDolanOT @theRCOT I trained in the mid 90s and our lecturers were bordering on obsessed with making sure sex and sexuality was considered in every module! Sex and older people, sex and people with learning disabilities, sex with LBP. Sex and SCI! It was great. (Not a British uni 😊)

@kchccuot Our hand therapy lexturer used to throw whiteboard pens at us if we didn’t know origin, insertion, innervation and action of every hand muscle! And I could draw the brachial plexus in my sleep. Ah OT school in the 90s in Australia, you were brutal

Today’s CPD involved learning all about the Brachial Plexus nerves and their function! Thumbs up if you know what the Extensor Pollicis Longus/ Brevis does! 👍 #anatomy #upperlimb

@ot_yash @saeboukglyn @AvrilDrummond1 It was the @CurtinOTSWSP Curtin OT uniform! The girls had navy blue culottes…. I only wore uniform on my PMH AND Gero placements I think, then I worked at the ILC which was non uniform. … didn’t the RPH therapists all wear fire engine red…. ?

@saeboukglyn @AvrilDrummond1 Bit controversial but I’m actually pretty happy with it as the green trousers we are provided with are *rank* and also were I trained in Western Australia the OTs were in navy blue and the PTs in forest green…. So not the same cultural value as being a “green”

@CallumLloydOT We run a work hardening group within an outpatient setting (I'm now in Aus). In my former NHS OT life, we ran groups jointly with a local third-sector organisation. A client co-facilitated one of the groups. Happy to chat further!
