I spoke to a resident of Whaley Bridge about the perilous state & near collapse of their dam a few years back, and how it has spawned a tourism trade - coffee shops and models of Chinooks etc. Ring any bells @bluebirdk7 ?

@AndersonKennya @bluebirdk7 That’s exactly where the difference in values lie. BBP spent as long as it took to restore K7. RM set a tourism-friendly timetable, and that date became the key generator for their decision-making.

@otboae @bluebirdk7 Can't see how....K7 is their property and as such its down to them what is done with it... The restoration done by BBP is a different matter and can't be deminished by anyone.....but since March 24,K7's timeline has been mapped by the RM and I don't think it matters what we say

Max Planck ( The Planck Institute) revealed a fundamental smallest scale in the universe—the Planck scale—built from basic constants like the speed of light (c), gravitational constant (G), and Planck's constant (ℏ).Planck length ≈ 1.6 × 10⁻³⁵ meters: the tiniest meaningful distance. Below this, space itself becomes fuzzy; our ideas of distance, time, and smooth geometry break down. Planck time ≈ 5.4 × 10⁻⁴⁴ seconds: the shortest meaningful tick of time (roughly how long light takes to cross a Planck length). What it tells us about scale in the universeIt sets the universe's absolute lower limit on measurable size and time. At this scale, quantum effects and gravity become equally important, so our current laws of physics (quantum mechanics + general relativity) fail and "break." We need a new theory—like quantum gravity—to describe what happens there. In context: The observable universe spans ~10²⁶ meters across. The Planck length is so tiny that if you scaled a proton up to the size of the entire universe, the Planck length would still be minuscule (like a short plane ride across it). It shows reality has a built-in "pixel size" or resolution at the bottom—there's no meaningful "smaller" in the way we understand it today. While the cosmos is vast, the human mind can grasp (and imagine beyond) even these extreme fundamental limits of scale.
