Maresca is one of the best mangers ever at balancing an 11. Even with the shitshow of squads we gave him he always found solutions to be balanced. James in midfield, Neto up front, gusto in midfield the way he platformed caicedo etc etc But fucking idiots couldn’t see it.

Our squad was imbalanced Maresca was very good at finding ways to balance his team via player roles or tactics. I have always repeated this. This is what our squad looks like without a coach who can do that.
