Once complete, this 25-kilometre road will revolutionise movement and trade across the region; empowering farmers and traders in Murhanda, Shinyalu, and Virhembe markets to access broader markets, transport their goods with ease, and expand their enterprises. It is through strategic investments in infrastructure, the kind that fuels productivity, drives prosperity, and strengthens livelihoods, that we are transforming lives and communities across our nation.

Earlier, the President presided over the groundbreaking of the Lanet Affordable Housing Project, the foundation laying of Susan Kihika Primary and Junior School, and the commissioning of the CT Scan Unit at the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital.

Laid the foundation stone for the Lanet B Affordable Housing Project in Nakuru County. This landmark initiative; a 2,100-unit development employing over 3,000 young people is a real game-changer for Gilgil Constituency. It will completely transform Pipeline Estate, giving it the modern, organised, and dignified face it has long deserved. In the long run, we will construct 25 new markets and more than 21,000 affordable housing units across Nakuru County; creating over 30,000 jobs and unlocking new opportunities for enterprise and community growth. This is what we mean when we say a nation is transformed not by rhetoric, but by deliberate and sustained development.

We are leveraging public-private partnerships to upgrade and modernise hospital equipment, ensuring quality healthcare for Kenyans. Under this model, private players are installing and maintaining critical medical equipment, with hospitals only paying for the services delivered. Commissioned a KSh130 million modern CT Scan Unit at Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital. This state-of-the-art machine, acquired through this innovative partnership, will double the hospital’s capacity to 100 scans a day. It also includes a heart treatment kit and is powered by AI technology. We will install over 70 such advanced machines in health facilities across the country under the same model, strengthening access to modern healthcare for all Kenyans.
