@WilsonLo24 An advanced left turn arrow would be safer. Vehicles trying to turn left into the mall or park n ride have cars flying down Earl Armstrong.

@WilsonLo24 @thinner1973 All due respect to the councillor has he tried turning left at that intersection? It’s nearly impossible at peak times. I’ve had to start using the River Rd entrance to that plaza.

@thinner1973 According to Councillor Desroches, multiple traffic assessments at the location have never met warrants for an arrow. Relying purely on data is reactive, since it relies on percentage of collisions involving left-turning vehicles--doesn't account for close calls.

Guessing no permits were obtained as there were no flags for water, wires etc. ever put down. Would the @ottawacity send someone out to inspect the tree? Just don’t want this massive tree to fall and land on my house or car. @OttawaBylaw

So my neighbour is having his driveway widened with pavers. 2 days of digging and cutting roots off the tree to make room. This morning, new guys are here to install pavers and I hear him ‘that tree is gonna die, he cut through the main root. It’s gonna die soon’. 1/2
