#LevelZero is when there are no paramedics available to respond to medical emergencies. It happens frequently in Ottawa, Canada.

Can you imagine calling 911 for a medical emergency but having no ambulances available? In 2021, there were 1,139 Code Red incidents in Toronto (0 ambulances available).

One month ago today, a child died while @OttawaParamedic had no ambulances available. Off-duty and reassigned paramedic staff eventually formed a team to treat her and transport her to hospital where she was declared dead. Click the images or scroll for full text 1/
