A los españoles y uruguayos les tomé bronca porque nosotros cuando ellos no eran nada los bancamos a muerte. Queríamos que a Uruguay le vaya bien en el 2010, lo mismo que a España. Preferíamos a ellos antes que Holanda. Les tiramos siempre de la buena. Resultaron ser traidores.

@kennycovington1 @RunemirQi @tomsan106 I saw this one later. Kids only think that way when they see disappointment from adults, instead of guidance and support. Adults in charge should be taking notes on each player to work on their weaknesses without transferring their disappointment to the kids.

Reading all the postmortems after the U.S. was knocked out of the World Cup, what's most striking is how few people are identifying the actual problem. You can't solve a problem until you correctly define it. The same recycled talking points keep coming from organizations, media, and pundits. The go-to explanation is always pay-to-play. I'm 100% against pay-to-play. Every child should have access to football regardless of their family's income. But here's the uncomfortable truth: even if youth soccer became completely free tomorrow, we'd still produce the same results. Why? Because pay-to-play isn't only failing the kids who can't afford to play, it's also failing the families who are paying. The issue runs much deeper than cost.

@kennycovington1 @RunemirQi @tomsan106 This micro frustrations are key for strong characters. It’s the grown ups job in my opinion to make them work on what they lack instead of scouting for top players. Giving each one of them their time and opportunities all through their youth.

Lo que queda claro de esto es que los argentinos tenemos que estar más enemistados con México, España, Colombia y Uruguay que con cualquier otro país. Sepan que no son nuestros amigos, son enemigos. Ni los ingleses nos odian tanto, digo 100% en serio. Prefiero Inglaterra a España

De Uruguay ni hablo. Saben que jamas van a volver a ganar un Mundial entonces si Argentina sigue ganando la distancia los hace ver cada vez más chicos. Es como el síndrome Independiente con Boca. Saben que en cuanto Boca gane la 7ma no tienen de donde agarrarse.

@StarobinskiA En 2022 la mayor parte de Uruguay quería que gane Argentina también. Pasó algo bastante raro este año desde el principio. Hubo picas ridículas, como por ejemplo lo de las cuatro estrellas. No se quién empezó, pero terminó en mala onda mutua.

Europeans love arguing that you don’t have to be an “athlete” (big/fast/strong) to play soccer and use Messi as the example but never bring up Ronaldo (pt/br), Haaland, Zidane, Henry, Zlatan, Kane, Mbappe or Ronaldinho who were all 6’+ Messi is the exception to the rule

@Living4aLiving_ With the US population you don’t need a complete cultural shift. Argentina has 10 times less population (almost). You can have the same number of players with 10 times less cultural predominance of the sport. Simplifying numbers for argument sake.
