@TheWomanfredi I had an induction and it was extremely painful… I remember the midwife rolling her eyes and telling me that I was over reacting and that it was going to get worse. I still get flashbacks.

I try not to discuss birth much because I have so much repressed trauma from my experiences, and frankly, I’d like to keep it that way. What I will say is that women should not be forced to go through an induction - which is extra painful - without adequate pain relief. Horrific.

@JudieannRose I’d help bury the body 😁 no roast dinner is complete without at least two Yorkshire puddings!

My 6 year old would stab you in your sleep for such blasphemy.

@ourcherrytree @DonnaDundasBlog Similar story here. He died around the same time as our teenager, and none of us can watch any of his movies at all. There was a clip of him talking on a mix CD in the car, and my partner threw it in the bin at the motorway services.

Does anyone have tips for dealing with tantrums in older children? My (nearly eight) son is having the most epic meltdowns in the evenings and I’m finding it hard to cope after two hours of him screaming ‘I don’t like you, I only like Daddy’ at me every day…

I’m even worse company than usual right now, no wonder my friends don’t want to chat anymore 🙈 I’m just rubbish

Having a pretty low day. All I want to do is hide under a blanket and sob for a bit but we have a workman in fitting drawers under the stairs and so I have to hold it together…

One of my best mates just sent me a kilo of Mini Eggs 😂 that’s enough to cheer me up!

@ourcherrytree I always end up buying stuff when I feel like that. I would go with chocolate instead of the ice cream option.

I’m in an odd, low mood… can’t decide whether I want to cry, stuff my face with ice cream, nap or buy stuff I probably don’t need… tempted to do them all and see what works!
