Ian Miles Cheong (correct spelling) is alive and well.
The "death by Iranian Shahed drone in Dubai" claim is a debunked hoax. Variety never reported it. Cheong posted videos from Dubai on March 3 and March 19, 2026, showing he's fine and the city is normal. He's active on X as ianmiles right now.
